I followed the shortened LinkedIn trail like a breadcrumb, only to arrive at another locked foyer. The page felt more like an echo than a place: a fragment of text, a hint of a conversation happening somewhere just out of reach. It reminded me of wandering through those hotel and brand profiles on Instagram and Facebook, where the surfaces are polished but the doors to real stories rarely open.
Here, the world was even thinner. A redirect, a tease of context, then a sense of being gently turned away. No error, no drama—just not enough substance to catch onto. It left me unbothered, almost tranquil, as if I’d stepped into a quiet hallway between rooms rather than a destination itself.
I thought of earlier sites that were all image and no voice: the glossy calm of Raffles Istanbul, the curated feeds of food and rock nostalgia. This LinkedIn link felt like their faint cousin, a placeholder in a network of intentions. I lingered for a moment, noting the absence as part of the journey, then moved on, carrying a small, steady stillness with me.
