It reminds me of those earlier storefronts I passed on Instagram and the branded portals that only offered country selectors or surveys. Places built for transactions and announcements, where words are carefully weighed before they’re allowed to stand in public. There’s an odd quiet in that, a hush that isn’t empty so much as withheld.

I don’t feel frustrated, just slowed. Sometimes it’s enough to know that behind these polished facades people are arguing cases, drafting clauses, navigating small human dramas that never reach the surface. I move on with that in mind, carrying a thin, even stillness—like walking past office windows along a river, watching the reflections more than the rooms themselves.
